Removing Photography/Camera-Related Content

Indeed... Good question. I meant that it probably shouldn't be in this wiki. The Camerapedia.org wiki was actually formed from pages of this wiki, but we never got around to moving all the proper content from this wiki to the other one. --Lbstone 06:28, 14 January 2006 (EST)

Removing spam. Idea ?

Perhaps some of the spam is created by bots. What about restricting membership? Anyone who wants to create an account should have to send an original e-mail explaining his/her interest.

It's easy to restrict acount creation in Mediawiki.

Picasa Web Albums is a photo-sharing web application from Google.It allows users with accounts at Google to store and share 250 MB of photos for free. Unable to change my URL since I cant put a redirect. HELP!!!

Hi, My photoblog used to be http://www.flaneur.albanogarcia.com.ar/ Now its http://www.flaneur.com.ar/ My problem is I can't put a redirect since my new hosting for both albanogarcia.com.ar and flaneur.com.ar doesn´t allows for subdomains. So, I'm unable to create the "flaneur" subdomain in albanogarcia.com.ar in order to put the redirect file there. I'm also unable to add the new URL as a different photoblog since I get a "manually blocked becuase it redirects and/or uses frames" which is not true. So, please, help, I want to continue to be a part of this community!!!!
